As a copywriter, my goal is to make people actually want to read your brochures, newsletters and reports. I will:
- make sure that complex terms are explained in terms that someone outside your office can understand
- highlight what makes you different from your competitors
- write in a tone that reflects your image and values
- integrate clear and specific calls to action that will make it easy for people to buy, donate or get more information
- (if requested) include a personal touch with a cover letter that speaks directly to particular customers or donors.
- (if requested) provide attention-grabbing subject lines and link suggestions for email campaigns.

CJP Songbook
The client wanted a booklet to encourage its most active campaigners to get ready for the year ahead. Instead of just extolling CJP's many virtues, I worked with the client to incorporate pop song lyrics and references within the copy. CJP campaigners actually enjoyed reading the booklet -- so much so that they incorporated CDs and sing-a-longs into their campaign pitches throughout the year.
Greater Miami Jewish Federation Case for Giving
The client wanted a brochure that integrated their campaign theme with easy-to-find sections so that readers could quickly discover how their gift makes a profound difference in people's lives.

Donors had already given to the client's campaign, but the client sill wanted to let them know how their dollars were used. The content emphasizes the Federation's quick, effective response.
Greater Miami Jewish Federation Super Sunday Brochure
Super Sunday is one of the Federation's biggest annual fundraising events, and it was taking place on the same day as the Oscars. I thought it would be fun to go with a movie theme. The Federation agreed - and as a result of the publicity, they had four-star participation throughout the day.
