I love writing. And I love words - how they sound, what they can do, the whole megilah. Good thing for a copywriter, huh?
Except for one brief stint as an ice cream scooper (I was fired the first day for giving customers too much ice cream) I've always been a writer. I started out as a newspaper reporter. I had to be creative, but I also had to be accurate - and quick. When I moved into public relations, my responsibilities expanded beyond news releases and media relations to include newsletters, annual reports, direct mail, scripting for company events and writing for that wondrous new marketing tool called the Internet.
Now, I have the pleasure of working with many different clients throughout the United States. Their services may be different, but they have one thing in common: the constant need to let people know who they are, what they do and what they offer.
As a copywriter, I love coming up with the right words that persuade people to buy, donate or get involved.
